Applications

The Central Boiler® outdoor wood furnace is installed outside (up to 500 feet away from your home or business) and can be adapted to work with any existing heating system.  A water jacket surrounds the furnace firebox and heated water is pumped to the home or building through insulated underground tubes.  Water-to-water or water-to-air heat exchangers or direct circulation conveys the heat into the structure's forced-air furnace, boiler, or radiant floor heating system.  This allows for normal thermostatic control of temperature for safe, even, comfortable heat.  The ability to heat multiple buildings and domestic water can eliminate your heating bills.  The Central Boiler® furnace can be used in many heating applications.

In addition to heating an entire home or building, the same unit can also be used to heat other buildings such as a garage, workshop, shed, greenhouse or barn -- without using other heating sources.  It can even be used to heat a swimming pool or hot tub.

Top Performance With Any Existing Heating System

Forced Air System

By installing a water-to-air heat exchanger in your furnace (similar to an air conditioner coil), your entire home can be completely heated by a Central Boiler® furnace using the existing duct work.  Your existing furnace serves as a back up.

Radiant Floor Heating System

Radiant floor heat is becoming an increasingly popular heating choice for both new construction and remodeling or additions.  The system can be installed during construction in a concrete slab, or tubes can be fastened between wood floor joists in new or existing structures.  Once you have your radiant floor heating system installed, the underground pipes from your Central Boiler® furnace outside of the home, are then connected to the radiant floor heating system.

Radiant Baseboard System

By installing a water-to-water heat exchanger, or by connecting directly into an existing boiler, the Central Boiler® furnace can heat an entire home with the existing baseboard or radiant heat system.  Your existing boiler serves as a back up.
